Harvey Smith was a champion in show
jumping as his main sport. He was controversial because he gave a “V sign” to
the judges then disciplined after winning the British Show Jumping Derby for
the second year in succession. He didn’t succeed as a singer as a career. Later
on, he became a television commentator for the B.B.C. (British Broadcasting
Corporation). Harvey Smith was the first man to have jumped in 100 Volvo World
Cup Qualifying Rounds.
